As someone born and raised right here in the foothills, I care deeply about the mechanics of how our community runs. Over the last few years, through my work consulting for local businesses and serving as the President of the Tuolumne County Chamber of Commerce, I’ve seen firsthand what it takes to get things done in our region.
We have fought hard to push local government away from a culture that bogs down investment with red tape, advocating instead for a “Service First” approach that helps local projects actually get to “Yes”. What I have learned is that in local government, good intentions don’t fix supply chains, build housing, or protect businesses. Competence and infrastructure do.
That is why I am personally endorsing Ryan Campbell for Tuolumne County Supervisor.
I evaluate leaders not by how loud they can be, but by their ability to organize people around ideas and build coalitions. Ryan understands the structural realities of rural California. Recently, he joined me to speak with community members in Twain Harte, zeroing in on the exact issues that are threatening our local economy and our livelihoods: wildfire preparedness and the ongoing insurance crisis. These aren’t just talking points for Ryan; he understands that these are critical, structural challenges that require serious, pragmatic leadership to solve.
